No-Till Flower Growing Podcast

I have been enjoying the No-Till Flower Podcast on some recent rainy days. I have learned an immense amount about soil biology and natural farming practices.

It has inspired me to start a new bed for cut flowers (currently being de-grassed) and I have decided to jump into my long delayed wish to get into planting some fall bulbs.  The school usually asks for donations of flowers for the May Crowning and I hope that I can contribute some spring flowers of my own next year.

I finally started gardening this spring. Mostly vegetable gardening but I'm also planning to do a lot more than that. Thanks for mentioning this "No-Till Flower Podcast." It looks like a helpful resource.

Welcome to the garden club! I have been doing veggies for years and everything I've learned about soil and pests from this podcast is applicable back to veggies. Highly recommend the soil science, BRIX number, and biodynamic episodes.

What did you grow?

I planted some tomato plants this year, as well as attempting the "Three Sisters." This is the first year that I've attempted anything serious with gardening. So far, so good.

How did it turn out?

I've been boiling down some tomatoes to freeze as sauce but have yet to make my favorite green salsa.
